First of all let me introduce myself, my name is Tanya Del Bello <\/span>and I live in a small town in the Marche region. Born on 01\/09\/1975 in Johannesburg. My mother was South African and when I was about two years old, we returned to Italy, to my father’s country of origin, and since then we have always lived in Italy.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have a diploma in the business and tourism sector. <\/span>I am self-taught and drawing has always revolved around me since I was little. Following a very painful event in my life, I finally decided to take that course, the drawing course. Since then everything has transformed, and maybe I have too.<\/span><\/p>\n

In various italian cities, I have had several collective and personal exhibitions, I have also received recognition for poetry, my “second love” together with oil painting.<\/span><\/p>\n

I like to define myself as “an art intern with a blank canvas” because I realize that learning never stops and that art and imagination are “infinite”, I want to “make space” and organize ideas for my \u201cnew canvas\u201d. I want to start from here.<\/span><\/p>\n

I need to remember the commitment undertaken, the great energy and concentration used in certain delicate moments where, maybe, It was better to \u201crun away\u201d rather than live in the present. I choose to \u201c stay and believe\u201d all the way.<\/span><\/p>\n

So if you are wondering why to buy from me rather than from someone else, I simply answer <\/span>because “I sell you a piece of my soul and my heart”, <\/span>a piece of “my feeling”<\/span> before selling a work.<\/span><\/p>\n

My projects are aimed at everyone, anyone who wants to “adventure” and start “a little journey” but not only that, even for those who are simply curious and I hope, above all, to leave an emotion, a starting point for reflection because, today more than ever, we need humanity and humility to live. My biggest and most challenging project is without a doubt the Geraldine Ahim\u00e8 project. It took a good seven years to “give substance” to the idea that was slowly maturing and I am proud of the patience invested. I would define it as an intriguing story, between reality and fantasy, where the protagonist, Geraldine, interacts with “special friends”, who have the task of “strengthening” the image and the concept.<\/span><\/p>\n

In my paintings I will not give an explanation but rather a tool, “a key to understanding” through “her friends” and obviously through the image.<\/span><\/p>\n

I deeply love “playing” with language, with expressions, with ways of saying. In Geraldine’s paintings you will find many connections between words and images.<\/span><\/p>\n

These works <\/span>tell of the passions, torments, illusions, defeats and victories of every human being. These works are a daring and allegorical “staging” of the absurdities that life reserves for us, being, at times, more surreal than imagination itself. I don’t limit myself to describing figuratively but I try to impress on the observer the hidden meaning that the work depicts. Each character is a sincere and authentic reflection in the emotional world of every human being. My works are not only the expression of Tanya Del Bello but also a “freeze image” of current society<\/span>. <\/span>In contrast to the Geraldine project, however, I also felt the need to undertake new artistic paths together with other projects therefore on the site you will find what at the moment “speaks a little bit more than me\u201d, in addition to the various evolutions, always in the artistic field.<\/span><\/p>\n

The objective is to share and “give”, if possible, a bit of emotion and “lightness”, accepting \u201cdiversity\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
